Naira Appreciates By 2.5% Against Dollar At Official Market

On Thursday, the Naira appreciated in the official market, trading at N1,639.50 per dollar.

According to data from FMDQ Exchange’s official trading platform, the currency gained N42.15, reflecting a 2.5% increase from Wednesday’s rate of N1,681.65 per dollar.

Additionally, the total daily turnover rose to $244.96 million on Thursday, up from $196.78 million on Wednesday.

At the Investors’ and Exporters’ (I&E) window, the Naira traded within a range of N1,635.00 to N1,700.00 against the dollar.
