Gospel Movie Producer, Actor ‘Baba Gbenro’ Is Dead

Nigerian gospel movie producer and actor, Moses Korede Are, widely known for his role in Abattoir, has passed away.

He was fondly called Baba Gbenro.

The news of his death was shared on Thursday via Instagram by fellow gospel actor and producer, Oluwaseun Adejumobi.

“Heaven’s Gain Again. A General Has Gone to Rest,” Adejumobi wrote, prompting an outpouring of sympathy and shock from fans and colleagues alike.

Baba Gbenro was the founder and International President of the Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, based in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, and also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Calvary Movies Television.
