Former Minister Achituwo Dies In Abuja

Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State has extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Alhaji Abubakar Achituwo Tanko, former Minister of State for Interior and Foreign Affairs, who passed away in Abuja.

In a statement issued to newsmen in Minna on Saturday, November 16, 2024, by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago expressed deep sorrow over Achituwo’s passing, describing it as a great loss to both Niger State and Nigeria.

He noted that the void left by the late minister would be difficult to fill.

The governor prayed to Allah to grant Alhaji Achituwo Aljanna Firdausi and encouraged his family to find comfort in the knowledge that life and death are in Allah’s hands.

He further praised the late Achituwo for his significant contributions to the progress of Niger State and the nation during his tenure as Minister of State for Interior and Foreign Affairs.
