Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the former Secretary to the Government of Kano State, has warned that he will expose Governor Abba Yusuf and his political mentor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, “at the right time.”

This marks Mr. Bichi’s first public statement since his dismissal from office, along with five other commissioners, by Governor Yusuf in December 2024.

Speaking to his supporters on Thursday after returning from Saudi Arabia, Bichi promised to reveal damaging information about his former political allies, asserting that he possesses incriminating documents, videos, and voice recordings.

In what appeared to be a pointed reference to Yusuf and Kwankwaso, Bichi labeled the pair as deceitful and treacherous leaders.

“I’m happy that I have finished my tenure in peace. As you know, this is not the best time to talk, but at the appropriate time we will expose them so that people will understand the kind of people they are.

“They are not trustworthy people… They’re very deceptive. They don’t know anything except treachery and betrayal. They are not people to be trusted.
