Following the announcement, the Senate President referred the request to the Senate Committee on Appropriations for urgent review, assuring lawmakers that the budget would be finalized and passed by the end of February.

This move prompts the National Assembly to expedite discussions to ensure the prompt approval and implementation of the 2025 budget.
