Hours after the Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (Rtd), Ibok Ete swore in the newly appointed administrators of the 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs), a billboard with the picture of suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara has been destroyed.
The incident happened at the Obio/Akpor LGA council.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers while also suspending Fubara, his Deputy and the State House of Assembly members amidst the lingering political crisis in the State.
Tinubu’s move has received mixed reactions.
