Tribunal Delivers Ruling On FCCPC’s $220m Fine Against Meta

The Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal has affirmed the $220 million fine levied against Meta Platforms Incorporated by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).

In a statement released on Friday, the FCCPC’s Director for Corporate Affairs, Ondaje Ijagwu, announced that the tribunal also ordered Meta to pay the commission $35,000 to cover the expenses incurred during the investigation.
