Nigerian Army In ‘Fierce’ Battle Against ISWAP In Yobe

The Nigerian Army has reported that its troops under Operation HADIN KAI are currently engaged in a fierce battle with Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters.

This update followed an attack by the insurgents on the town of Buni Gari in Yobe State.
