‘Nobody Above The Law’ – EFCC Reacts Strongly To Tompolo’s Viral Video

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has stated that Chief Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, will be questioned regarding an allegation of naira abuse.

This development follows a widely circulated video, reportedly from Tompolo’s 54th birthday celebration in April, which showed him dancing while someone sprayed ₦1,000 notes in front of him.

The video prompted calls from Nigerians urging the EFCC to investigate the incident, and the anti-graft agency has now responded, indicating that the Niger Delta leader will be required to provide an explanation concerning the footage.

“Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!” the EFCC wrote in a post on its social media handles Monday morning.
