Veteran Actress Cries Out For Help

Veteran actress Jumoke George, a familiar face in Nigerian cinema for many years, has publicly appealed for assistance, revealing that she has been battling illness and homelessness for the past six years.

In a tearful interview on actress Biola Adebayo’s show ‘Talk to B’, Jumoke, who has starred in numerous Yoruba films and also appeared in the popular movie ‘Wedding Party’, shared her current struggles.

She recounted living without shelter, residing in a church, and fighting an ongoing illness.

Adding to her distress, Jumoke George also disclosed that she has been searching for her missing child for some time.

The host, Biola Adebayo, shared the veteran actress’s plight on her Instagram account on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, quoting Jumoke’s emotional plea:“Please pray for me, mothers in the world. Help me with your prayers. I have never ruined anyone life. I am tired, I can no longer bear it. I don’t have a home, I don’t have anything and a child of mine is missing. I don’t have good health; I am tired and exhausted. I’m living in the church, most times it’s the church mummy that feeds me,” she revealed during the interview.
