Obi, Fayemi Attend Pope Leo XIV’s Inaugural Mass

Former governors Peter Obi and Kayode Fayemi attended Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration mass at the Vatican in Rome.

The mass, held in St. Peter’s Square, marked the official start of Pope Leo XIV’s papacy. Thousands were present as he received the symbols of his office.

President Bola Tinubu also attended the event, alongside other world leaders.

Obi, who was the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, shared photos of himself and Fayemi at the inauguration.
