FG Declares Public Holiday To Honour Buhari

The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Tuesday, July 15, 2025, a public holiday to honour the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday.

The announcement was made on Monday by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, following approval from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This declaration is in addition to the seven days of national mourning previously ordered by President Tinubu.
