Bariga Council Chairman Renames ‘Charly Boy’ Bus Stop After Olamide ‘Badoo’

The Chairman of Bariga Local Council Development Area in Lagos State, Kolade Alabi David, has announced the renaming of the well-known ‘Charly Boy’ bus stop to honor award-winning rapper and singer Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Badoo.

Alabi made the announcement on Friday in a video shared by #TVCNewsNg on X, stating that the renaming is part of the council’s initiative to recognize individuals who have brought prestige to Bariga and improved Nigeria’s international standing.

He also disclosed that Ilaje Road has been renamed after veteran Juju musician, King Sunny Adé.
