The Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested two students from the Federal University, Otuoke (FUO), along with a third suspect, for their alleged involvement in assault, cyberbullying, and “forceful abduction.”
Police confirmed that the suspects are in custody and will be “charged in court.”
One of the suspects, Blessing Daniel, a 20-year-old FUO student, narrated her role in the viral assault.

She confessed that she and her friends “maltreated and nearly murdered” their friend, Nancy Wilfred, after luring her to an apartment.
There, they “assaulted her, stripped her naked, and humiliated her” while filming the incident.
Daniel claimed she was “under the influence of alcohol” and acted out of anger after the victim had allegedly been “spreading false information” about her.
She said, “We were four, but Favour, who sparked the attack, is on the run.”
Daniel admitted, “We didn’t know it was going to be this bad. If we were in our right minds, we wouldn’t have gone this far.”
She explained that the fight began after the victim allegedly lied that she did “‘Kayamata’,” and that “Favour sparked the anger in me; that made the attack worse.”
