According to the organizers, the 2024 BBNaija promises to be bigger and better than ever before, featuring several exciting twists and turns.
As the show kicks off with a grand entry on Sunday at 7 pm, viewers can look forward to several highlights including the house, voting power, the housemates, and more.
The Big Brother Naija house is always a major attraction. This season’s theme revolves around partners – double housemates bound by one ticket and opportunity – ensuring that the house will have an incredible look and feel. It will feature the Head of House lounge and the Saturday party venue.
The logo of Season Nine hints at the plan to have two housemates play as a pair for this season.
With the concept of double housemates playing the game as one, the power to influence the game will lie in the hands of DStv subscribers and BBNaija fans, as the voting process will be made more accessible. Additionally, fans can actively participate and win by predicting the overall winner and locking in their prediction for the winner of the immunity challenge.
Toke Makinwa will return for another season of The Buzz on Showmax. This popular show, an offshoot of the reality show, will feature Makinwa offering in-depth analysis, behind-the-scenes content, and exclusive interviews.
Over 15 housemates will compete to remain in the house for 72 days, with the grand prize being N100 million, which includes a cash prize and an SUV.
The Head of House challenge will have a new format this season, featuring the Custodian Challenge starting at 9 pm on Sunday. The process to select the first HoH, now called the HoH Ballot, will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 29, 2024. This will be followed by the Custodian Lock-In, the Immunity Challenge, and nominations.
