BREAKING: Hours To Planned Protest, Police Foil Bomb Attack In Lagos

Less than 24 hours before the planned nationwide protests against economic hardship set for Thursday, August 1, the Lagos State Police Command announced that its operatives had thwarted a bomb attack in Ikeja, the seat of the State Government.

Channels Television reported on Wednesday evening that the incident occurred near the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) facility in Ikeja.
