The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has appointed Mr. Mukhtar Galadima as his Senior Special Assistant on Development Control and Planning.
The appointment was announced in a statement released in Abuja on Wednesday by Mr. Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant to the minister on Public Communications and Social Media. The appointment takes immediate effect.

Olayinka described Galadima as a “seasoned town planner” with over 30 years of experience within the FCT Administration, having worked in both the Department of Development Control and the Satellite Towns Development Agency.
Galadima rose through the ranks to become the Director of the Department of Development Control, under the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) in the FCTA, in 2016. He retired from the Civil Service in November.
The new appointee was also a member of several ministerial committees during his service, including the Abuja Masterplan Restoration Task Team and the Review of Revoked Titles and Change of Land Use.
