Pearl, the wife of Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry (also known as Liberation City), has opened up about their love story following their high-profile wedding.
The couple tied the knot in Lekki, Lagos, on Tuesday, a ceremony that took place despite ongoing public allegations from actress Doris Ogala, who claimed the cleric ended a nine-year relationship and failed to fulfill a promise of marriage.
The wedding was a star-studded religious event, officiated by several prominent clerics, including Matthew Ashimolowo, the senior pastor of the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London.

Family members, close associates, and friends were in attendance to witness the union.
In a video shared on Mr. Okafor’s official Facebook page on Thursday, titled ‘He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour from the Lord’, Pearl described their meeting as a supernatural event. She expressed her deep affection for her new husband, stating:“We met by divine orchestration. It was something that would have never happened by human effort. God actually put us together. He’s very, very intentional. He’s my sugar daddy. He’s my boyfriend. He’s my husband. He’s my best friend. And he’s still my daddy.”

Pearl also spoke about her dreams for their future together and the family they hope to build, adding:“I’m looking forward to carrying his children, little versions of him. I want to watch them grow. I want to watch my family bask in God’s glory. I want to see them become as huge as he is. The only and only Oko, Ayanfe mi. The one that makes my life sweeter. The one who knows that secret button in my heart. I love you.”
Responding to the union and his choice of a bride, Chris Okafor expressed total confidence in his decision. He justified the marriage by saying:“I had no doubt about it because I knew what I wanted, and I am happy.”
