Minutes after Peter Obi left the ADC Secretariat in Edo, suspected APC thugs reportedly stormed the premises in unnumbered vehicles, wearing masks and carrying guns.
According to reports, one woman was shot in the neck and is receiving treatment in the hospital.
Another person was beaten and suffered head injuries, while many others were left injured.
The attackers were said to have also taken the violence to the residence of ADC party leader Odigie Oyegun where they shot sporadically and destroyed vehicles.
