On Monday, security operatives dispersed protesters in the Karu area of the Federal Capital Territory.
The protesters were still gathering when the security agents intervened, resulting in the arrest of three individuals.

In an interview with The Punch, protester Yahaya Abdullahi reported that the security forces fired teargas at the group.
He said, “Our people were just coming out and the police and other security agents started tear-gassing us and arrested some of our people, we know of three for now.”
