JAMB Releases List Of Best-Performing Candidates In 2026 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the list of the highest-scoring candidates for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The announcement, made during the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions in Abuja, highlighted an elite group of students who achieved scores ranging from 367 to an impressive 372.

Leading the pack is Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin, who scored 372 marks. Daniella, an indigene of Ekiti State who sat for the exam in Ogun State, has chosen to study Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Following closely is Enwere Kingsley Ikenna from Imo State, who took his exam in Lagos and scored 370. He is set to study Computer Science at Nile University.

In third place, Bamisile Ayomide Emmanuel from Ondo State scored 369, seeking to study Software Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).

Other top-performing candidates who achieved outstanding results include:

  • Olabiyisi Olanrewaju Oluwatimileyin (368): An indigene of Oyo State, aiming for Mechatronics Engineering at Pan-Atlantic University.

  • Victor-Onyeka Daniel Ifeanyi (368): From Imo State (Exam in Rivers), choosing Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).

  • Osagiobare Daniel Osahenrumwen (368): An indigene of Edo State, heading to the University of Benin (UNIBEN) for Mechanical Engineering.

  • Ademiluyi Adebowale Anthony (368): From Osun State, opting for Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).

  • Azuike Kenechukwu Anthony (368): An indigene of Anambra (Exam in Lagos), seeking Software Engineering at Afe Babalola University (ABUAD).

  • Offorkile Michael Okechukwu (367): From Abia State (Exam in Anambra), chose Computer Science.

  • Adebisi Eniola Sonari (367): From Ogun State (Exam in Osun), heading to Covenant University for Computer Science.

  • Umukoro Gift Orhenevovwero (367): From Delta State (Exam in Edo), choosing Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

The release of these results celebrates academic excellence as institutions begin preparing for the 2026/2027 admission cycle.
