Nigerian professional wrestler Oba Femi secured a monumental career win by conquering former UFC and WWE titleholder Brock Lesnar during a violent Hell in a Cell match at WWE SummerSlam on Saturday evening.
Staged at the US Bank Stadium situated in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the showdown marked the Lagos-born athlete’s inaugural appearance inside the notorious steel structure.
Femi immediately pressed the attack against Lesnar right from the opening bell, enduring a series of German suplexes, a Tombstone slam onto bare wooden planks underneath the canvas, alongside multiple strikes involving steel steps before turning the tide with a pair of chokeslams.
The encounter hit its critical turning point after Lesnar tried deploying a steel chair, only for Femi to bat it away via a forceful right cross prior to executing his trademark Fall From Grace maneuver to seal the win.

“The hug and public endorsement was definitely a shock, and I didn’t see that coming.
I know that deep down, Brock has always respected me, and he knows that deep down, I respect him as well,” Femi said.
This triumph extends a stellar breakout calendar for the Nigerian grappler, who previously bested Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 this past April prior to capturing the 2026 King of the Ring tournament crown in June.
