What You Need Before You Start

10-Digit Examination Number: Comprising your 7-digit center number and 3-digit candidate number.

WAEC Scratch Card / e-PIN and Serial Number: Required to access the portal. You can generate or purchase an e-PIN directly through the official WAEC website or approved channels.

Examination Year: Select 2026.

Examination Type: Select WASSCE (School Candidate) or WASSCE (Private Candidate) depending on which exam you sat for.
Step-by-Step Guide to Check Your Result Online

Visit the Official Portal: Open your web browser and go to the official result checking website at waecdirect.org or results.waec.org.ng.

Enter Your Examination Number: Type your full 10-digit exam number into the designated field without spaces or dashes.

Select Examination Type: Choose your correct exam category (e.g., School Candidate or Private Candidate).

Select Examination Year: Choose 2026 from the dropdown menu.

Enter Card Details:

Input the Card Serial Number found on your scratch card or e-PIN voucher.

Enter the unique PIN (scratch off the silver panel gently if using a physical card).

Submit and View: Click the Submit button to load your result sheet.
Note: Be sure to print or save a PDF copy of your results immediately after loading to avoid using up additional scratch card allocations if you need to view it again later.
