The All Progressives Congress (APC) has asserted that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke remains vulnerable to defeat at the polls owing to his substandard governance record.

Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the ruling party, made this assertion on Wednesday while featuring as a guest on Arise Television’s current affairs program, ‘Prime Time’.

He voiced confidence that the APC flagbearer will successfully unseat the incumbent officeholder, driven by strong backing from the state’s electorate.

According to him, the final outcome will rest upon authentic and transparent electoral tallies delivered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

“Governor Adeleke is utterly defeatable. His record has been very lacklustre. He has been very dismal in his performance as governor.

“The health and education sectors are in shambles. He is very detestable because he hasn’t done well.

“INEC is determined to do its job as appointed by the law, and the people of Osun state, I believe, irrespective of the reports of violence, will go out there and make their choice because that is their state,” he stated.

The highly anticipated Osun State gubernatorial election is slated to take place on August 15, 2026.
