During a recent Arise News town hall meeting ahead of the Osun State governorship election, Ademola Adeleke responded directly to the remarks made by Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, who had earlier mocked him at an APC campaign rally by calling him a “dancing governor” and questioning his governance.

Adeleke fired back at Okpebholo’s criticism regarding his leadership and public personality, while also calling out the lack of protocol when visiting governors enter other states without formal clearance.

He contrasted this by recalling how he handled a past campaign committee assignment in Ondo State, where he formally visited the sitting governor to show administrative respect.

Addressing the political rallies and campaigns staged against him in his territory, Adeleke pointed out that visiting politicians do not vote in Osun State, adding that those same figures often call him privately afterward to claim they were merely playing political games.

Reiterating his strength in the race, Adeleke declared himself a bulldozer and stated that he remains completely unfazed by rival governors rallying in his state, noting that they are all his friends behind closed doors.
