Kaka Mallam Yale, a former federal lawmaker who once represented the Borno Central Senatorial District, has passed away.
The former senator reportedly breathed his last on Friday morning while undergoing medical care at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.
Ibrahim Yale, one of his children, confirmed the passing to The Punch on Friday.
“Yes, I am his biological son, our father, Kaka Yale died today (Friday),” he said.
Senator Yale served as the representative for Borno Central from 2007 to 2011 under the banner of the All Nigeria Peoples Party.
