BREAKING: Arteta Takes Decision On New Arsenal Deal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has agreed to a new three-year contract with the Premier League club, putting an end to speculation about his future, according to widespread reports on Thursday.

The 42-year-old, who has managed the Gunners since 2019, had led the team to consecutive second-place finishes in the league but was entering the final 12 months of his previous deal.

Last month, Arteta called for calm regarding his contract situation, emphasizing that his focus was on the transfer window.

The announcement of his new contract comes just ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash against London rivals Tottenham on Sunday.

Arteta, a former Arsenal player, left his coaching role at Manchester City to replace Unai Emery at the Emirates.

Since then, he has secured silverware and revitalized the club as Premier League title contenders. In his first season, he led Arsenal to an FA Cup victory.

The Gunners have also finished as Premier League runners-up in the past two seasons, closely challenging champions Manchester City.

Currently, Arsenal sits fourth in the table with two wins and a draw and is set to begin their Champions League campaign next week against Atalanta.
