Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, who chairs the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council, has issued a stern warning to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against any actions that could undermine Nigeria’s democracy.
Speaking in Benin City, the Edo State capital, at the conclusion of his party’s governorship campaign ahead of the upcoming election on Saturday, Fintiri emphasized the need for a credible electoral process in Edo State.

He asserted that any attempt to destabilize Nigeria’s democracy would be firmly resisted.
Fintiri reassured the people of Edo that the PDP is committed to ensuring a transparent and fair electoral process for the September 21 election.
“PDP will not accept anything less and will not be intimidated. Edo is the cradle of civilization and intellectualism, and the right thing must be done,” he said
