At 96 years old, Dantata expressed his concerns about the worsening state of the country’s economy and called on the elite and political leaders to act with integrity and fear of Allah. He also prayed for peace and harmony in Borno State and throughout Nigeria.

In response, Governor Zulum thanked Dantata for his generous and compassionate gesture, noting that it serves as a significant source of hope and solidarity during these challenging times.

“The people of Borno deeply appreciate this show of humanity by a 96-year-old to visit us. Let me say it, Our Baba has donated the sum of N1.5 billion to support the flood victims. May Allah bless and reward you with Aljannah. Mu gode, Baba,” Zulum said.

This donation follows a N1 billion contribution from Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Dantata’s nephew, to support the flood victims.
