How I Got Phone Recording Of Bobrisky – VeryDarkMan Finally Opens Up To Reps

Blogger Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, revealed how he obtained a controversial phone recording involving crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.

He made this disclosure on Monday while appearing before a House of Representatives panel investigating bribery allegations involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

Officials from both the EFCC and NCoS were also present as the Committees on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions began probing the corruption allegations made by the blogger.

Initially, VeryDarkMan refused to address the committee in Bobrisky’s absence, as the crossdresser sent a lawyer instead.

However, the lawmakers countered his stance, passing a motion that compelled him to speak on the voice recording he had released.

Despite threats from the committee to invoke legislative powers and order his immediate arrest, the blogger stood firm, insisting that his lawyer would speak on his behalf.

It was only after his lawyer’s persuasion that he finally agreed to address the committee.

VeryDarkMan explained that the voice recording, which had gone viral, was authentic and came from an individual to whom Bobrisky allegedly owed money. He submitted part of the audio recording to the committee for review.

In the viral video, the blogger alleged that Bobrisky paid ₦15 million to the EFCC to have money laundering charges against him dropped, following his naira-spraying incident in April, after which a court sentenced him to six months in prison.

He also claimed that Bobrisky paid additional sums to secure preferential treatment during his imprisonment.

Bobrisky has denied all the allegations, while both the EFCC and NCoS have ordered investigations into the claims.

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has called on the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, to conduct an independent investigation into the blogger’s allegations.
