Ahmed Musa Gets New Appointment

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has approved the appointment of a new management team for Kano Pillars Football Club following the expiration and dissolution of the previous board.

This announcement was made on Sunday in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Tofa. The new board members will serve for an interim period of one year, with the possibility of renewal based on the team’s performance in upcoming seasons.

The new board will be chaired by Ali Umar (Nayara Mai Samba) and include Salisu Kosawa as an honorary member. Other members are Yusuf Danladi (Andy Cole), Nasiru Bello, Muhammad Ibrahim (Hassan West), Muhammad Usman, and Muhammad Gwarzo. Additionally, Mustapha Dankura, Ahmad Musbahu, Rabiu Abdullahi, and Usman Naisa will serve on the board, while Abubakar Yamalash and Ismail Tangalash will take on the roles of Media Director and Deputy Media Director, respectively.

Governor Yusuf expressed confidence in the new appointees, believing their knowledge and experience will be instrumental in managing and overseeing the affairs of Kano Pillars FC. The new board is expected to collaborate closely with the state Ministry of Youth and Sports and other relevant stakeholders in the sports industry to promote Kano Pillars FC.

In addition, the governor approved the appointment of Nigerian Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, as the Kano State Sports Ambassador.
