Moment Police Fired Tear Gas To Disperse Protesters At MKO Abiola Stadium In Abuja (VIDEO)

Police authorities fired tear gas at protesters gathered at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja, attempting to disperse the demonstrators who had assembled to press on with their demands.

The number of protesters was smaller than in previous days, but they had still gathered at the stadium, the designated venue for the protests in the nation’s capital.

After some hours, police officers deployed tear gas canisters to disperse the crowd.

A court order had restricted the #EndBadGovernance protesters to the stadium, prohibiting them from using other areas.

On Friday, similar tactics were used, with tear gas being fired at protesters when they gathered at the Berger roundabout area of the FCT.
