BREAKING: Why Any Further Gathering For Protest In Lagos Is Unlawful – Police

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, announced on Sunday that the #EndBadGovernanceinNigeria protest has been banned following President Bola Tinubu’s address to the demonstrators.

Fayoade stated that any further gatherings in the state are now deemed unlawful and illegal in light of the President’s intervention.

“The protest has been called off because of the President’s speech. They believe that the President has spoken, and they are looking forward to him meeting their demands.

“In view of that there should be no more gathering here or anywhere, any of such is considered illegal and unlawful. Since It has been called off, we will apply the full weight of the law,” he said.
