The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPC Ltd.) has refuted reports claiming that it is selling employment slots to the public.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Olufemi Soneye, the company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, urged job seekers and the general public to disregard these false rumors.

Soneye emphasized that there is no truth to the allegations that NNPC Ltd. is offering employment slots for sale.

He labeled these claims as “antics of fraudsters” seeking to exploit unsuspecting applicants.
NNPC Ltd. assured that its recruitment process is transparent and straightforward, with no involvement in the sale of job slots or any form of inducement. The company warned that anyone who pays money for a job at NNPC Ltd. does so at their own risk.
