An advance team of twenty-three Russian engineers, the original builders of the Ajaokuta Steel Company, has arrived in Ajaokuta for a technical audit.
This visit is part of the preparations for the project’s completion.

The team will be updating some of the analog equipment with digital alternatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Sumaila Abdul-Akaba, the sole administrator of Ajaokuta Steel Company, confirmed to NTA that the team has inspected several areas, including the thermal power plant, the light mills section, and the oxygen plant.
