The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Ajiboye Omodewu has passed away.
He reportedly died after nearly a year of treatment for an undisclosed illness in the United States, where he was a citizen.

A native of Otu-Itesiwaju, Omodewu served as a commissioner in various ministries during the administration of the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi. He had recently completed his law degree and law school.
Olawale Sadare, the APC Publicity Secretary, confirmed his death in a brief statement.
