BREAKING: Obaseki Appoints Civil Service Commission Members, Permanent Secretaries (FULL LIST)

Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has approved the appointment of Lalla Aluyi as Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission.

Additionally, the governor has appointed two new Permanent Secretaries to the State Public Service.

The appointments were announced in two separate statements signed by the State Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa.

On the Civil Service Commission, Okungbowa said, “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has, in line with his powers under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, approved the appointment of the following persons as members of the Edo State Civil Service Commission.

“They are Lalla Aluyi, as Chairman; Ehi Obaseki, member; Gilbert Adegboyega, member; Julie Olatunji, member and Margaret Ohiowele, member.”

He indicated that the appointments are subject to confirmation by the State House of Assembly.

On the appointment of the Permanent Secretaries, Okungbowa said, “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that in furtherance of the transformation of the civil/public service of Edo State undertaken by this administration, Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has approved the appointment of  Queeneth Orobedo and Ojo Akin-Longe as Permanent Secretaries in the Edo State Public Service:

“The date of the swearing-in ceremony of the new Permanent Secretaries will be announced later.
