BREAKING: Tinubu Gives Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama Appointment

President Bola Tinubu has appointed seven individuals to form the new management team for the Niger Delta Power Holding Company.

Among those appointed is a former member of the house of representatives, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama.

Ogbeide-Ihama represented Oredo Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives from 2015 to 2023.

In June 2024, Ogbeide-Ihama was expelled from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for anti-party activities.

On Monday, the Presidency announced the new appointments in a statement signed by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Tinubu.

The statement, titled “President Tinubu Appoints New Management Team for the Niger Delta Power Holding Company,” introduced Jennifer Adighije as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Abdullahi Kassim as Executive Director (Generation), Bello Bello as Executive Director (Networks), and Emmanuel Umeoji as Executive Director (Corporate Services).

Also appointed are Omololu Agoro as Executive Director (Finance and Accounts), Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama as Executive Director (Strategy and Commercial), and Steven Andzenge as Executive Director (Legal Services).

Ngelale said Tinubu “expects the new members of the management of the company to deploy their expertise and experience to drive NDPHC’s mandate of effectively managing the National Integrated Power Projects.”
