BREAKING: Dino Melaye Lands In Trouble After Declaring PDP Dead

The Kogi State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has directed the local executive committee in Ijumu to begin immediate suspension proceedings against Senator Dino Melaye.

This action follows Melaye’s recent declaration that the party is dead.

The announcement was made in a statement by the party’s elders, led by Alhaji Ibrahim Dansofo, and was shared with the media on Sunday in Lokoja.

“Melaye’s political ambitions have crumbled to the point where he can no longer secure even a local councilor position

“Senator Melaye has become a burden to the party. His accusations against the current leadership are hypocritical, as he himself was granted a governorship ticket despite the party’s awareness of his inability to win even a primary election.”

The Kogi PDP has attributed the party’s current struggles to Senator Dino Melaye, asserting that his nomination was a major error that contributed to their present issues.

They have urged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to reconsider their support for Melaye, recommending that they distance themselves from what they describe as a “bondage” and a “big-time liability” for the party.
