The video captures the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State election, Dino Melaye, showing some of his cars which he called ‘babies’.
In the video, Melaye walked to where the cars were parked and complained about how dirty they have become.

The former senator added that he was going to take the cars for out to where they will be washed.
In 2023, Melaye lost the Governorship election in Kogi State which he contested for under the PDP.

In the closely contested Kogi State Governorship Election on November 11, 2023, Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious.
Ododo secured 446,237 votes, defeating Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who received 259,052 votes, and Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered 46,362 votes.
