The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has experienced a significant loss with the death of its Kirikasamma Local Government council candidate, Yahuza Umar Labbo.

Labbo, who was preparing to run in the October 5 local government elections, passed away at 55 after a brief illness.

APC Chairman Aminu Gumel confirmed his death in a statement on Wednesday.

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has expressed his condolences to Labbo’s family and the Muslim community, offering prayers for the deceased and strength for the grieving family.
Labbo is survived by three wives and fifteen children.
