Senior government officials are accompanying President Tinubu on his trip to China.

This visit comes in the wake of recent asset seizures by the Chinese firm Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited.

A French court recently ruled in favor of the firm, permitting the seizure of Nigerian presidential jets currently in France for routine maintenance.

This decision relates to an arbitration award in a long-standing legal dispute between the Chinese company and the Ogun State government.
