Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has reacted to the comment made made by presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in 2023 elections, Peter Obi on being ready to become vice president in 2027.
Obi in a recent exclusive interview with New Central TV indicated his openness to considering a vice-presidential role if he finds a candidate who he believes is more capable than himself.

While answering questions on the possibility of him accepting to be a vice-presidential candidate in 2027, Obi said: “Quite frankly, for me, I’m not desperate to be Nigerian president. I am desperate to see Nigeria work. If I see people who can do the work better, I will (consider being Vice President).Â
Omokri took to social media to react to obi’s comment.
He wrote: He is now begging for VP slot!
As much as I love and respect Waziri Atiku, if he gives him the VP slot he is now begging for, Waziri Atiku Abubakar, whom I love and respect so much, will automatically become my enemy, and I will fight him!
