The Niger House of Assembly has announced the passing of its member, Joseph Duza (PDP-Munya).
Farouq Isah, Head of Media and Public Relations for the assembly, confirmed the news in a statement issued in Minna on Friday.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Duza was the chairman of the House Committee on Security and Intelligence.
Isah stated that Duza passed away following a brief illness and offered prayers for the repose of his soul.
He also extended prayers for the leadership, members, and staff of the assembly, as well as the constituents of Munya, to find the strength to cope with this loss.
