Harris Losing Ground To Trump In US Presidential Race – Polls

Kamala Harris is losing ground to Donald Trump as the presidential election approaches, according to several recent polls.

As the race enters its final stretch, Harris’s lead over Trump has diminished or disappeared entirely.

The latest NBC News poll shows both candidates tied at 48 percent nationally, a shift from Harris’s five-point lead in the same survey last month.

In the ABC News/Ipsos poll, Harris has a slight lead of 50 percent to 48 percent among likely voters, down from 52 percent to 46 percent the previous month.

Similarly, a CBS News/YouGov poll indicates Harris leads 51 percent to 48 percent among likely voters, compared to a four-point advantage last month.

Currently, Harris has a 1.4 percent lead in the Real Clear Politics aggregate of major polls, down from 2.2 percent just a day earlier.

These tightening numbers raise concerns among Democrats about Harris’s ability to secure support from Hispanic and African American voters, key demographics for the party.

Although she leads among women across racial lines, enthusiasm among men, particularly African Americans and Hispanics, appears to be waning, with some shifting towards Trump.

Recent New York Times/Siena College polls show Harris capturing only 78 percent of Black voters and 56 percent of Hispanic voters, significantly lower than the support garnered by past Democratic nominees.

Former President Barack Obama addressed this issue on Thursday, urging Black men to rally behind Harris.

At a campaign event in Pittsburgh, he criticized the lack of enthusiasm, suggesting that some may be uncomfortable with the idea of a woman president.

Harris and Trump both continue to focus their efforts on key battleground states, holding campaign events in North Carolina and Arizona, respectively.
