The Super Eagles secured a 1-0 victory over the Mediterranean Knights with a goal in the 86th minute.

However, the statement did not confirm a new date for the second leg, leaving football fans eagerly awaiting an update from CAF regarding the fixture.

It’s important to mention that CAF announced on Monday that it had launched an investigation into the incident, after the Libya Football Federation accused Nigeria of sabotage and threatened to pursue legal action.
