President Bola Tinubu surprised Nigerians on Wednesday by dismissing five ministers in a significant cabinet reshuffle since August 2023.
The affected ministers include Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education; Abdullahi Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Jamila Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.

The presidency issued a statement announcing the changes, but no reasons were provided for their removal from the cabinet.
