Suspects Brought For Arraignments Over Nationwide Protest Faint In Court

Some suspects presented by the Nigeria Police for arraignment collapsed in front of Justice Obiora Egwuatu at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The group, consisting of 75 individuals aged between 12 and 15, faces a 10-count charge that includes terrorism, attempted overthrow of the government, and alleged mutiny related to their involvement in a nationwide protest.

The suspects were reportedly arrested on August 3rd and have been held in detention since then.

During their arraignment, several suspects fainted, prompting Justice Egwuatu to abruptly suspend the proceedings.
