Following a deadly attack by Boko Haram terrorists that claimed the lives of approximately 40 Chadian soldiers on the night of October 27, President Mahamat Derby Itno has relocated to the frontlines to personally lead an offensive against the insurgents.
President Itno visited the site of the attack to offer condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers.
In response to the attack, he launched “Operation HASKANITE” to pursue the attackers and drive them back across the border.
