The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has strongly condemned the conduct of the Ondo State governorship election held on Saturday, labeling it a “sham.”
In a statement issued on Sunday, the opposition party, through its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, expressed its dissatisfaction with the election process and stated that it is currently reviewing the outcome.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious with 366,781 votes, while the PDP’s candidate, Agboola Ajayi, came in a distant second with 117,845 votes.
The PDP criticized the election, calling it the worst ever conducted by INEC.
